Say Hello To Some of Our Pangolin Friends!

Pangy Friends

The world is full of pangolin love if we look in the right places! Now more than ever we need to celebrate the inspiring people working to protect pangolins.

From an artist sketching darling illustrations of pangolins to a team in Zimbabwe rescuing pangolins, here are some of the amazing humans doing beautiful work to support pangolins.

Wild Armour

Wild Armour creates handmade, wildlife-themed jewelry that gives 40 percent of profits to charities, including our partner, Save Pangolins. While we’re partial to the necklaces with pangolin designs, we also love the stunning pieces with rhinos, turtles, bears, and whales.

Tikki Hywood Foundation

Tikki Hywood Foundation is the epitome of pangolin love. They’re dedicated to rehabilitating pangolins that have been confiscated from illegal trade and raising awareness, among many other inspiring efforts to keep pangolins protected. It’s also such a treat to get little peeks into their day-to-day work through their social media posts!

Save Pangolins

We love our friends at Save Pangolins. They do all sorts of amazing things for pangolins (we wrote a separate blog post all about their work!). And if you want to spread awareness through your threads, check out their awesome pangolin swag.

The sun is about to set as a Cape pangolin goes for a drink in Mozambique’s Niassa Wildlife Reserve. Despite the devastating news last week that 28 tons of pangolin scales were found being trafficked from Nigeria to Vietnam, we stay hopefully that it’s not too late for the little pangolin. The news was picked up by many major media outlets around the world. We have seen a surge in public awareness and interest in pangolin over the past several years. This is a key first step — we need to galvanize support and now channel that into action. Save Pangolins and our partners won’t give up until all 8 species of pangolins are safe from extinction.
